Lucifer’s Sanctuary is an oil painting size 26”x21”. A Lucifer is a light bearer, one who brings light to cast out darkness originally referring to the planet Venus that could be seen at dawn. The positive qualities of a Lucifer have been twisted in their description of the christian devil, but also that devil too is a bestower of knowledge to the first people. I think of Lucifer as a misunderstood concept, someone who might be seen as lazy or unclean but pursues righteous things and is deserving of a halo.
